ES&S has commissioned a new high resolution MT-SAT ground station in Vientiane for the Lao Department of Meteorology and Hydrology in partnership with the Australian Bureau of Meteorology. The system is a part of a major upgrade project undertaken by Marubeni Corporation and the Japan Radio Co. and funded by the Japanese Government through JICA and the Japan Weather Association.
