We
are pleased to announce the release of the latest update to the
Echo firmware, known as GuriaV6. This version, known as Release
7, now includes the ability to sub-sample data to file, and introduces
some new settings for the Level Trigger recording process.
You
can find out more about the changes to the firmware by visiting our
customer web site and clicking on Kelunji, then following the navigation
menu to Echo documentation and downloads. You must have an account
to download the firmware, which you can create for yourself through
the web site. Within a day you will be given access to the relevant
software/firmware download sections of the website according to the
products you have purchased from ES&S.
You will be able to freely download GuriaV6 Release 7 if:
- your Echo is less than 12-months old
- your Echo is still under its optional extended warranty
- you have purchased an upgrade to GuriaV6 in the last 12 months
If your Echo/GuriaV6 is out of warranty, you can purchase the latest firmware for $400 (+GST for Australian customers) per recorder. This will also entitle you to an update of eqWave, which will be released in the next week or so.
